I am an artist based in Almaty. I work with sequences—moving image (performance, film) and publishing. Observation is at the centre of my practice. I am interested in the vernacular and in small, often unnoticed aspects of the everyday. The context of where I live shapes my work. Photography and film help me record these fragments, while performance sometimes extends this act of observation into physical space. I am drawn to documentary methods that allow accidents, pauses, and unexpected moments to surface.
