The performance ‘Scena’ (Scene) is a part of the in the city of L. series.  All the components of the common performance are here — the person, the stage itself and the light. The city of L. is any small city in Kazakhstan, in which, it would seem, there is nothing interesting. B ut what is interesting? We often think of it as spectacular, stunning, or great. Lisakovsk is in the Kostanay region, where I have thought of going for 19 years (and finally did). A pen pal lived there. A friend said it was boring and there was nothing to do. I question stereotypes and look for interest in the mundane.  With inconvenience, through performances, I  communicate with the city.
